The 101 Goals in 1001 Days project is a unique meme that challenges and inspires us to set and complete realistic goals in life.
Yesterday night, with the help of some of my friends, I’ve come up with a list of 101 goals that I wish to acheive, and my mission is to simply complete these goals in a period of 1001 days.
Wow, I haven’t seen this in awhile. In 1999, Griffiths Primary School was the first school that I attended.
This is the school bagde that we had to wear on the left collar of our uniforms. It features the school crest, the school motto (To seek, To Strive, To Find) and the date of our school’s modern founding (It was first opened in the 1950s, but closed down in 1982. It reopened in 1988.)
Ahhh… the memories. It’s all starting to come back now: “Fly high, the flag of Griffiths School. We’ll seek, we’ll strive, with all our hearts and mind. Not yield but work, until success we find.”
Amy and I were talking about the ‘good old days’ just now, and we both suddenly realised that we were in the same S&E class in Year 10, but we hadn’t noticed each other until the following year.
I was looking through my documments hosted on Google Docs, when I found this; my Year 10 S&E assignment on ‘International Confilct - Aspects of War’, dated 27th August 2007. What a coincidence!

The 7PM Project: News, but not as you know it.
Finally! A news and current affairs program that doesn’t involve miracle diets and stories that ‘no parent can afford to miss’.
I felt that it was a shit day today. Right from the very start. As soon as the bell rang on the last session for the day, I didn’t know if I was, or wanted to be, happy or sad. It wasn’t the fact that it was the last day of this term, or the fact that some of my friends are leaving high school today. It was something in me that I felt was ‘not right’, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
Two people came up to me today and noticed that I was a little bit “lost”, even though I tried really hard not to behave/react in a way that would make people think that I was feeling down.
With that, I’ll end this post with a list of my recess and lunch purchases for the day - because I eat/think/talk about food when I’m sad:
Bye-bye Art room. We’ve had some good times together over the past two and a half years. I’ve produced some amazing pieces in there that I’m extremely proud of.
But sadly, it’s time to go.
