The last day of sememster 1
I felt that it was a shit day today. Right from the very start. As soon as the bell rang on the last session for the day, I didn’t know if I was, or wanted to be, happy or sad. It wasn’t the fact that it was the last day of this term, or the fact that some of my friends are leaving high school today. It was something in me that I felt was ‘not right’, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
Two people came up to me today and noticed that I was a little bit “lost”, even though I tried really hard not to behave/react in a way that would make people think that I was feeling down.
With that, I’ll end this post with a list of my recess and lunch purchases for the day - because I eat/think/talk about food when I’m sad:
- A ‘spicy chicken burger’ - It wasn’t spicy at all, and at $4.20, it’s a rip off. Will never ever buy it again.
- Lipton Iced Green Tea with Citrus - Very delicious… and healthy.
- A freshly made toasted chicken and cheese sandwich - The lady who made it for me forgot to put in the mayo, which made it a little dry and hard to swallow.
- Slushie - I had a few sips from Briddey’s cup.
- Assorted sweets and lollies - A nice treat to round up the semester.
