This mother’s day, I wanted to do something special for my mum. Problem is, I’m in Australia, and she’s in Singapore. After days of careful planning and consultations, this is what I did: I called an advertising agency to help me erect a 400 by 200 metre picture of my mum, sister and I on the glass facade of Changi Airport’s MRT Station. I hope you like it ibu!

Happy New Year!

It’s finally 2008. Time to start afresh, quite literally! My family and I kicked off the new year by reacquainting ourselves with nature. We visited Jurong Bird park, the world’s largest bird park with over 9,000 birds of 600 species. Of those, 29 are of endangered species.

We spent quite awhile there, before moving off for lunch at Jurong Point Shopping Center.

Now since it’s already here, I can finally announce it. We bought a new car!!!! And it was delivered and handed over today, the 1st of January 2008.

Also, our family made T-shirts. Yes, family branded T-shirts.

So far, it has been a great first day of 2008. Hope this year will be as eventful and fun as 2007.
